 nel mese di maggio c’è stato “ Il Salone del Cavallo Americano” di Reggio Emilia; ultima edizione!!!

Infatti l’anno prossimo lo stesso evento si terrà presso la Fiera di Cremona; location più ampia e sicuramente più adatta ad ospitare tutti gli eventi che questa fiera merita di mettere in campo.

Nel suo contesto si è tenuto il….

Best in Show

1°Best in Show Ufficiale di Morfologia aperto a tutti i cavalli di razza Paint, Quarter Horse e Appaloosa.  E’ stata una bella gara!! Sicuramente da riproporre.

Il prossimo evento in programma è un interessante Clinic di Halter, Western Pleasure e Trail Horse che si svolgerà sia a Staffoli (Molise) il 1 e 2 giugno, che a Medesano (Parma) presso il Pedro Ranch il 18 e 19 luglio. Entrambi saranno tenuti dal pluricampione Francesco Bassi. Per informazioni ed iscrizioni, contattare la Segreteria AIA.

Chief Joseph Trail Ride

 Enrollment Deadline June 12

The 51st annual Chief Joseph Trail Ride is July 20-24. This is a progressive ride and the camp moves each day to a new location as riders travel approximately 20-25 miles daily of the historic route traveled by Chief Joseph and the Nez Perce as they attempted to evade the US Cavalry in 1877. The 2015 ride assembles near Ryegate, Montana and ends near Roy, Montana. The trail is just east of Lewistown, MT. The early-bird enrollment deadline is approaching fast. Be sure to sign up by June 12 in order to attend at the lowest possible rates.

Appaloosa National Championship Endurance Ride (ANCER)

Enrollment Deadline June 8

The 2015 Appaloosa National Championship Endurance Ride (ANCER) will be held in conjunction with the Pine Tree Pioneer Ride in Fryeburg, Maine on July 4, 2015. The ride is sanctioned by AERC and is a 50-mile ride. The ride begins at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds. For additional information, please contact the ride manager – Tom Hutchinson by email at tch1@megalink.net. Riders must enter the Pine Tree Pioneer Ride as well as enter the ANCER in order to compete in each.

The pre-entry deadline is June 8. Riders must be qualified and entered by that date in order to receive a ride t-shirt and pay the lowest possible enrollment fees.

2015 AYF Scholarship Recipients Announced

The Appaloosa Youth Foundation (AYF) accepts applications for scholarships on an annual basis. Each year applications are accepted from youth who meet the specified criteria for eight different scholarships.
